Working out at home is far more cheaper, less stressful (you don’t have to impress anyone!) and easier as opposed to working out a gym. You can easily keep an eye on your kids and save money on gas and membership, there is no need to buy certain types of workout clothes, and you can play whatever music you want at the volume you prefer. I know I personally would rather work out in the privacy of my living room rather than deal with a crowded gym!
But what kind of program helps you lose weight and is still fun and challenging at the same time?Insanity Fitness is the answer! Insanity Fitness is a 60-day workout program that can be done at home (that’s right, no classes to make time for in your busy life!). The cardio workout you are given with the Insanity Workout DVD ensures you will lose the weight and keep it off once and for all.
The Insanity Workout is truly a program where you see real results. If done correctly, you can burn up to 1,000 calories-just imagine the weight you will lose! The workouts include sports drills and plyometrics, in addition to cardio. The best part is, no expensive or fancy equipment is required! Speaking from experience, I know the training may look a little intimidating to some people, but the results speak for themselves! For those individuals looking for sculpted abs and a defined, toned body that is stronger than before, I would say that this is a program I would trust to deliver results!
Still not sure if this is the right program for you? Don’t be intimidated, check out the Insanity Reviews and see what other satisfied customers have to say! Another good reason to start now? You’ll have a whole new body in time for New Year’s!
Happy Training!

What to buy for double the trouble aka Twins
My co-worker’s sister is having twin girls soon (actually I am waiting for the day when my co-worker gets a call and then screams “Ohmigod what?!” and dashes out of the office because her sister’s water broke. Hasn’t happened yet.)
Babies are cute and twins are double the fun (and cuteness…and trouble…..), but picking up baby supplies can be an issue, especially for first time moms.
In my opinion, there are two crucial items that every mom needs ASAP: cribs and strollers. Your baby needs a place to sleep, and you need to be able to carry him or her around when you exercise, or just get out of the house and get some fresh air. For those moms having multiples, it is important to purchase a separate crib for your other babies, just so you can prevent fights or other instigations as they get older. Although bonded, multiples will have to learn how to sleep without one another at some point, especially if they are boy/girl sets.
To save money, I suggest a plain crib in a color such as white (or yellow), something that can be used on either gender whether you plan to have more children, give to a relative at a later point, or give to someone less fortunate. But that doesn’t mean you can’t personalize your baby’s bedding! For the little princess(es) in your life, try lavender crib bedding to make her nursery more girly. Are you having a boy, or would you prefer a more gender-neutral design? Then farm crib bedding is perfect for your babies and promises not to be the same old pink/blue color combo you see everywhere else. And for the no-nonsense mom, try black crib bedding for a simple, no frills looks that completes the mod décor of your house.
Strollers, are of course, important for twin moms, and I suggest a graco duoglider double stroller, just to make life a little bit easier on you and your children. Sure having multiples might keep you busy, but that’s no reason to stay housebound as well! This way you can be sure you and your children are benefiting from exercise and fresh air (and it also makes it easier if someone else wants to take them for a walk, giving you some much-needed shut eye!).
Happy shopping!

Calling all Avon Rep Wannabes!
If you’re like most moms, you want a way to earn money for your family while staying at home with your children. And, it would be great if you could do what you love.
It makes sense that many mothers have chosen careers with Avon. No inventory is required, sign-up costs are very low (ranging from $10 to $20 if you sign up on the internet), you can buy stuff at a deeply discounted rate for yourself and your family, and you get to be known as the Avon Lady! Selling makeup, beauty products and holiday décor-what could be more fun?
While Avon is a great home-based business, it is important to figure out how many other Avon Ladies share the neighborhood with you. Will you be able to go to the supermarket, bank or Laundromat and be the only one peddling her wares, or will you simply be one in a herd of thousands?
These are questions SAHMs and WAHMs will need to figure out before signing up, as well as asking yourself:
Can I control my urges to buy product just because I get it at a discount?
Can I devote an area of my home/office where I can run my business out of the home?
How much time am I willing to market my business?
Can I go without making a profit for a few months until my business takes off?
Am I willing to attend trainings and meetings with other like-minded individuals?
Mind you, I am not discouraging women from joining Avon. I truly think they are a great company (their products are not tested on animals , they promote breast cancer awareness, and fellow mom Reese Witherspoon is their spokesperson!)
I personally found it difficult to get started because there were so many other reps in my neighborhood…however, think I would like to become an Avon lady again, if nothing else, simply to get some discounted bubble bath and never be without gifts for all the women in my life come Christmas time!

Itsy Bitsy Yoga
Even if you’re a yoga fanatic like I am (practicing since age 15!), you might not have heard of Helen Garabedian and her business, Itsy Bitsy Yoga. “Yoga for babies, toddlers and kids?,” you think to yourself. What kind of new fangled notion is this?!
Actually, it’s not the new at all. Started in 1999 by then mother-to-be Garabedian, Itsy Bitsy Yoga is unique in the fact that it allows young children to learn yoga poses with their parents. In addition to providing one-on-one bonding time, children who learn while they are still little gain flexibility, knowledge, better movement, and enjoy benefits such as sounder sleeping, a healthy digestive system, and of course, added fun and challenges in their lives!
It is as simple as finding a class in your area. No one close by who is trained in Itsy Bitsy Yoga? You can always become a facilitator yourself and spread the joy of yoga to others!
Would you prefer Helen’s books and dvds for a more do-it-yourself approach? We sell them through our Amazon affiliate program for a quick and easy checkout!
I believe the best thing about Itsy Bitsy Yoga is that it combines your desire to exercise AND spend time with your child into a fun hobby you can both enjoy together!
Rating: A:combines exercise and bonding into fun time you and your child can enjoy!

Riah's Rainbow
Today I wanted to talk about a very special young lady who is awe-inspiring and left behind a legacy of love for other children: her name is Mariah.
Mariah had an inoperable brain tumor that was unfortunately terminal and led to her passing at the tender age of four.
However, Mariah was not easily distracted by something as scary as that-rather, she chose to become involved in her coloring-begging her mother to bring her coloring books, crayons and other tools for drawing to the hospital. Undaunted by what her illness had done, Mariah learned to color with her left hand when her right side was paralyzed from treatments.
Mariah's beautiful artwork can be seen on the Riah's Rainbow . Although her passing was untimely and devastating for her family, Mariah's beautiful spirit lives on in the work they do for other terminally ill children-providing coloring books, crayons and paints so that they too may lose themselves in their artwork as little Riah did.
This is a wonderful form of art therapy for children and I cannot think of a better way to help them smile and cope with a difficulty most adults wouldn't even know how to face!
Please consider making a donation of coloring books, crayons and other supplies for terminally ill kids in memory of Riah. This is a great project to get your children involved in as it teaches them to be kind to others, as well as understand and appreciate those who are different.
Riah and her family are in our thoughts and we wish many blessings upon them for the good works that they do to honor her memory.
